Our mission
UFBH provides veterinary care, food, shelter, and support to basset hounds needing assistance in Utah. We work toward safe, lasting placements and support adoptive families throughout the lifetime of their dogs.
Our purpose
We believe every hound deserves to be treated with patience and dignity. That means meeting dogs where they are, being honest about their needs, and building a community around their care.
Community partners
Rescue depends on trusted veterinarians, shelters, transport volunteers, foster homes, adopters, and donors. We are grateful to everyone who gives time, expertise, supplies, and encouragement.
